About Kentucky 1871 Flowers
Well hello there flower friend! I’m so glad you stopped by my online flower stand. My name is Sheri and I am a flower farmer in Louisa, KY. My business is a passion project and I have poured my heart and soul into learning everything I can about the commercial flower industry and cultivating gorgeous stems.
My journey is rather unique. I began growing flowers in my backyard in Central North Carolina, which has been my home for the past 26 years. Four years into my journey, I took a ear off from flower farming to manage a renovation project on our family farm in Kentucky. And what can I say, I fell in love.
So here I am, in 2026, moving my operations to my paternal family farm in Eastern Kentucky. Follow along as our family begins its journey north a beautiful, peaceful, serene and sentimental parcel of property where we will plant our roots for generations to come.

Sheri is so talented, her bouquets are stunning and she provides information on how to keep our fresh cut blooms looking beautiful for as long as possible.
